Hello Hello! I am writing to you guys from my comfortable couch back in London, and I have to say it feels good to be back at home! I had a lovely break from the real world over christmas and new year over in Switzerland (as you can probably see from the photos above!) and I really do appreciate each & every blessing I have been given in my life. Being back in London means that now the job search is full speed ahead for me and Fabio and all we can do is keep our fingers crossed! How were your christmas and new year breaks? Did you go away? Shareeee!!

Christmas Day 2011!!

First of all, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and say a massive thank you for being such lovely followers and if it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't be doing what I do today :) You all mean so very much and I hope each and every person reading this feels the love !!

So as Im sure most of you already know, it is Christmas Day and I thought it would be cool to share what I got up to and my presents (which I am overwhelmed by) with you all. My day went a little like this:
We woke up late, had to move our lunch reservation to later as we weren't gonna be on time lol and we then opened our presents, left for lunch and came home to relax, and here I am now writing to you guys!

I am gonna share with you some pictures of my day to begin with, and then move on the pressies! This post is pic heavy and I got bored waiting to open presents so was messing around taking pics of myself!

So there ya have it, some pictures of me and my familly over lunch, me and fabio and me being silly with the camera! Shall we move on to the goodies?? I was so blessed to have been given so many wonderful Christmas presents this year from my familly & loved ones and I couldn't be any more grateful ! St. Moritz, So far...

Hey everyone ! If you follow me on twitter (which you should! hehe) I am currently away for Christmas with Fabio and my family in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and it is so lovely and snowy!! I wanted to share my trip with you guys here on my blog as I can't upload any new videos onto my YT because the internet in our house isn't the strongest! But it IS strong enough for blogging so here goes!

Below are some pictures of the town that I wanted to share with you guys and beneath these pictures are some of what I have bought since being here, and I'll go a little further into that when you get to those pictures ! See you after the jump ^.^

How pretttty is the town? I have been coming here since I was an ickle pickle, but it is Fabio's first time here in Switz and it is so lovely :) Anyway, on to the shopping hehe.. I haven't done much shopping since I have been here ( it has only been two days, and its so frickin expensive! ) But me and my mum went to the chemist (chemists are wayyy cooler out here) and we did pick up some goodies. I got my hands on these (not real) Chanel hair bands which I thought were pretty cool, and I also picked up some toiletries that I either forgot to bring or needed to get my hands on... and I also got the LOVELY and amazingly fantabulous YSL belt you see pictured below ( I didn't get that in the chemist lol )

Anyways my lovelies, I will be updating you on what I get for Xmas, and many more lovelies from my holiday, so see you soon ! P.S. Merry Christmas !!!!

These are some pictures I have taken or Fabio has taken between September and now (Jeez maneez I can't believe it's December! WEEEEEEEE!!) Photoshoot for "From Coco With love"

Hey Guys Dolls :) If you follow me on twitter, you probably would of heard that I met up with 2 lovely girls who are the owners of a business called "From Coco With Love" which specialises is selling vinage Chanel jewellery in Kuwait, and they kindly asked me if I were to be the face of their business, and as you can see above, I couldn't pass on such an awesome opportunity!

This past wednesday I met up with the girls and hit up Hyde park for the photoshoot (nothing too fancy, just the girls taking the photos with their cameras) and of course with Fabio by my side to take the lovely pics I posted above. It was a really fun experience, despite me freezing my bum off and having to change in the middle of the park lol but I am so glad I did it and I got a lovely pair of vinage Chanel earrings as a thank you from the girls! My Halloween Party 2K11

Hey Everyone! As you guys can see from the picture's above, we had a Halloween party this last saturday, as we do every year, but this year it was very special as I had my fiancé Fabio and all of his lovely friends to celebrate it with. I plan the party from the beginning of October, and get most of my supplies as in make-up and decorations from either ebay, or the Carnival Store located in Olympia in London, or off their website.

So it does take a lot of time and effort to put together, as we cover all our carpets in the house with tarpaulin (that we get off ebay) and have to move around all the furniture etc..., but once everything is done and all the decorations are hung up, the fun part of doing halloween make-up comes around, and usually I have to do my make-up aswell as a lot of other peoples lol which can become pretty stressful but is still the best part :)

As you can see this year me and Fabio decided to go as "dead" Naval Officers from Pearl Harbor and I think it turned out pretty cool ! I also did Loukas make-up and Fabios.

Anyway, I shall stop rambling lol and I hope you liked the pictures.

Hey Everyone, so as my loyal followers, you most probably know by my latest video that I am back in London, but these photos of me and the gang at the Acropolis in Athens have been lingering on my laptop as I forgot to upload them, so I figured I woud share them with you today as my last Grecian post. When in Athens, in the last few days, we decided to go and pay the Acropolis and ancient olympic stadium a visit as believe or not, I had never seen them ! It was a really fun day, and a great thing to see, but my god was it hot and there are so many bloody stairs to climb at the Acropolis to get up to the Parthenon I thought I was going to pass out or rob a tour guide of their mic and scream for water lol... apart from that, it was amazing to see what lived years and years ago and made me feel all the more proud to be Greek !

Hey Guys & Dolls ! Me, my familly, fiancé and our best friends took a trip on my dad's boat to a lovely little island in Greece called Poros, and we had soo much fun !

Going to greek island is nice because not only is it so beautiful and have such amazing sites but it is a nice break from city life. We rode around the island exploring on a moped and monkey bike, which was really fun until we went so far and I freaked ( as I was pilot of the Monkey bike with my bestie Louka on the back ) that we would run out of fuel and be stranded on a mountain side in the middle of nowhere lol so we headed back and ate lots of yummy greek food.

We did lots of fun stuff like jet skiing, snorkelling on the beach, shopping, eating and some more eating, so overall it was a hit, but I am glad to be back on solid ground and not swaying from side to side on a boat !

Yasoo my loves! So the pictures you have seen above are the proof of one hell of a drunken night at a club here in Athens across the road from us in Glyfada, called 'W'.

We had a great night as you have probably seen from the photos, and it was a night to remember as it was the first ever time Fabio (My fiancé) got waaasted and ended up with his head in the loo! (bless)

I did take good care of him though (as he has done for me many times lol) and he made it though his hangover the next day... well just about lol.

The day after our night out we hit the Greek island of Porros for 6 days, and those photos will be in the next post.

My Lita Collection

Today is a short & sweet post on a shoe-crush of mine, the Jeffrey Campbell Lita's. There isn't a thing I dislike on these beautiful platform booties, and you'll probably be able to tell from my mini-fleet !! A while back I purchased the khaki pair, as everyone seemed to have the black leather ones, and I wanted to go for a pair I'd never seen in real life. Then I came to Miami, and saw the American flag Lita's in LF and couldn't not buy them as they're not only AH-MAY-ZING but they're sold out everywhere ! ( I also like how the ones I picked up are stripes with stars on the tip over the other way round, and I've never seen them this way before!!) I then decided that as I wear black the most, I couldn't help but to get my hands on a black pair... but the leather ones, as I said before, seem to be everywhere... SO a trip to www.solestruck.com was in need so that I could go through their endless lita collection & choose a black pair... But then came the hard decision... WHICH black pair?!?

And.... the results are in.... I couldn't choose between the black velvet or the black exotic snakeskin... SO i got them both !! hehehehe

Day 1 in Miami - SHOPPING!

Hey Dolls !! As you know, or you now know lol I am in Miami for the next 6 weeks and will be sharing with you my daily activities, outfits & shopping !

On our first day, we hit the beach in the evening for some cruising around in the car down Ocean Drive, a bit of shopping & a lovely dinner at an amazing Italian ristorante (mmmm foooood)

Hey Dolls ! Me & my boyfriend recently took a spontaneous trip to Paris for a couple of days, as you do lol and had a lovelyyyy time. Paris is a wonderful city & is definitely a must-see city if you have never been. The architecture is so old fashioned & lovely and the weather is so much nicer than London ! We had a lovely romantic few days & you should def go there in the summer for a lovely mini-vacay.

Viva Las Vegas ! [Photo heavy]

Hey filthy followers, long time, as always lol but as my loyal followers probably already know, I have been jet setting recently and my last destination was Las Vegas ! Me and my 4 best friends went all together to celebrate my belated 21st and it was amazing ! Although I did come home early cos I was love sick (missed my bf !) but had an amazing 7 days in Vegas... The shows were amazing, we managed to fit in 3, Le Reve, Zumanity and Peepshow (with Holly Maddison) and they were all really different and all really amazing... I also managed to fit in alot of shopping hehe as ususal and got my hands on some amazing bargain goodies from F21, H&M and a new mini-alma from Louis Vuitton in pearl... AMAZING. We also got tickets to Hugh Hefner and his sons combined Bday bash which was so much fun, and we got to meet a bunny n get our drank on in the Playboy club and club Moon which were stories high in the hotel we were staying in, the Palms... I got a pic of Hugh ! hehe

REVIEW: HD professional make-up By Graftobian & Ben Nye (HEAVY)

Hello there my dearest followers :)

Yep, it has been a while, and I apologise but to be honest, I've been suffering from a mild case of writer's block... But now I am back, and I am hoping to step up my blogging & vlogging game and try crack at least 1 blog post, or video upload every 1-2 days...

Today I am going to be reviewing one of my latest obssesions....Professional HD cream foundations by Graftobian & Ben Nye. I stumbled upon the graftobian foundation review on Miss Natty's Beauty Diary and its kinda funny because like here, I have been looking for a professional, durable and wonderfully covering foundation [not sure that is gramatically correct lol] Anyway, I decided to try it our for myself.

My research began as to which palette is right for me, and being an "NC35" in Mac, and finding out that my perfect tone would be 'Buttermilk' in Graftobian's foundation (Thanks to Natty's review) I decided to buy the 'Warm' Palette by Graftobian, as it is the right palette for someone with yellow tones in their skin, like me and also the single colour of "Buttermilk" for everyday use.

If you have pink undertones in your skin, the correct palette for you would be 'Cool'.

If you have Grey/Neutral undertones, the correct palette for you would be 'Neutral'.

There are three smaller "5 tone" palettes available for each tone which retail at around £22, or you can buy the entire collection of your tone's palette, which comes with all 18 colours which retail at around £81.

I attempted to buy the palette and other bits & bobs off Graftobian's website but it wouldn't work, so luckily I found a UK based website that sells a more limited stock of Graftobian's make-up, but luckily had what I was looking for. After having a look around the website, I also stumbled across the "Ben Nye Matte palette" and after not being able to decide on the Ben Nye or Graftobian one, I got them both.

Here are their swatches:

GRAFTOBIAN "warm" PALETTE:

And BEN NYE 'Matte' PALETTE:

One of the handy things about the Ben Nye palette is that it comes in a sort of paint-like palette and has room for mixing the colours. Each individual colour also pops out, which is really handy if you want to take one with you rather than the entire palette, and they have nifty little lids !

I also got my hands on some fake eyelashes and the Graftobian Cake Liner in Black, RRP around £9 which is pictured below with the single colour of Graftobian HD cream foundation in"buttermilk" which retails at £13.50, and their swatches follow.

I also got my hands on some false eyelashes, that retailed only at a very low £3.50 !!

OVERALL VERDICT:

I have to say that I am really happy with all of my purchases, and I think that both the Graftobian Palettes and Ben Nye palettes are amazing, and I am very glad I bought both.

In a little bit more detail:

The Graftobian Palette is very creamy, and a very little goes a long long way ! I love the creamyness, the lack of cakyness is also great, and it last a super long time ! (Make up remover struggled to get off the swatches). It is very pigmented and coverage is impeccable ! You do also get more colour's than the Ben Nye but then again, this palette costs £30 more than the Ben Nye.

The Ben Nye palette is slighty less creamy than the Graftobian, but the overall packing is more versatile if you want to take a single colour on-the-go with you. The colours are also very pigmented, and hard to get off, but are great with coverage, and for £30 less than the Graftobian, the difference is only slight, and this palette will do just as good of a job.

RESULT:

In terms of personal preference, I love the Graftobian palette to death, and I am already fearful of it running out ! hehe

Anyway, I hope this review helped you guys out, and if you want a little more info, dont hesitate to check out Natty's blog as it really helped me out alot.

Nails Of The Day - Topshop 'Grunge'

Hey Guys & Dolls,

Today I am going to be reviewing a nail polish I recently bought off Topshop.com, called 'Grunge'.

I based my decision to buy this on the swatch that topshop provided on their website, which is pictured below -

and considering that is all I had to sway me whether or not to buy the polish, I have to say I am really pleased with it, especially as it only cost £6 and in my opinion is just as good as OPI or any other high-quality nail polish brand. The colour is like a dark metallic grey, with a hint of golden tones, and I think it is lovely for the wintertime.

The colour is really different and I have had quite a few comments on it, so I would definitely go back to Topshop for more of these cute polishes.

MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Review

Hey Dolls !

Today I will be reviewing MAC's latest mascara, 'Haute & Naughty Lash' which is pictured above.

Now usually I am not a big fan of MAC's mascara's, but that all changed when I purchased this £17 bad boy from MAC... (I think that's how much it was!)

The Great thing about this mascara is that it has two "Settings"... If you unscrew the pink top of the mascara, the perfectly fanned out brush comes out of the tube with minimal mascara on the brush, but enough to fan out your lashes and coat them perfectly for the daytime.

If you unscrew the purple top of the mascara, the brush comes out of the tube covered in mascara to give you that .... "POW" factor :P basically your eyelashes are super coated and perfect for a night out.

The top photograph shows the mascara with the pink top unscrewed showing the lesser coated brush, and the picture underneath it is the more coated brush.

I am so happy to have bought this product as it is my fave mascara right now... and below you will find my make up of the day... in the first photograph I haven't applied the mascara yet to show you my lashes without mascara, and in the pictures to follow my eyelashes are coated with the lesser option, the pink part of the mascara...

(In the photo I am wearing smashbox HD foundation in Light L4 followed by Bare Minerals matte foundation in 26 Golden Medium and on my eyes Mac eyeshadow in Ricepaper in the Lid and Mac eyeshadow in club in the crease.)

Mac Venomous Villains Reviews

Hey dolls !

As you may know, the Venomous Villains collection by MAC is now out, and so I went into my local store and picked up my favourite items !

The Cruella Deville lipstick in 'heartless' , the evil queen from snow white lipstick in 'toxic tale' and the same blusher in 'bite of an apple"

I am very pleased with the items I got, and also love the packaging ! It almost seems a shame to use them....

The pictures above show the products and also a nail polish in 'Formidable" but I am not very keen on the nail polish when its on the finger nail and will probably end up giving it away.

The swatches are labelled underneath the picture and I hope this helps you lovely dolls out... definately go out and get your hands on this line !!

Feathered Earrings

Hey sweetie pies !!

Long time, I know, and I apologise! But I have been busy with lots of different things, and had a bit of a writer's block, but recently noticed my growing collection of feathered earrings and I had to take pics and show you guys one of my new fave's of the moment !!

And here you have them, pictured above! One of my favourite new trends is the feathered earing, and they are so versatile and easy to wear, and come in so many different colours, and sizes, that they are perfect with almost every simple outfit !

All the earrings pictured above are from Topshop, and range in price, between £8-£15 I think, but are a must have in this winter's wardrobe, especially if you have long hair, as they can really make your ear's pop !

So beauts, go out and get your paws on some feathered jewels!

My trip to the Designer Warehouse Sale

Hey Sweets !

I recently went to the Designer Warehouse Sale in Islington, London, and it was really fun ! I went with a fellow youtuber and best friend, Jona aka BeautyByJona, and we had a fun time rummaging through racks of clothing, looking through designer goodies and I found some really cool things :)

Now when I say designer, they had brands like Gucci, Robert Cavalli, E.vil and others. ( it wasnt designers such as Chanel, Louis V, etc...)

I managed to get some really cool things, as pictured above!

I bought my NYE dress !! WOOOOOO !!! (Thank u mama!)

The first photo above shows the dress that my mom is getting me for our annual trip to St.Moritz in Switzerland for New years & Christmas.

I LOVE IT !!! How Gorgeous is the colour? Its like auburn/plum, and in my opinion is perfect for a High street dress, and could be fooled as a Designer frock ! (Theyre both from ASOS.)
